Location About ten kilometres from Bergerac, the château les Merles has a lounge bar whose menu of Bergerac wines will soon entice you! Atmosphere and tasting: At first sight, you will see a cosy décor of soothing minimalism, that is perfect for fully appreciating the roundness and authenticity of the Bergerac cru wines which have produced the expression Périgord pourpre (purple Périgord): Pécharmant, Montravel, Bergerac, Rosette, Saussignac or Monbazillac. The dishes or snacks are fusion-inspired (Japanese yakitori, curried vegetable snaps) and perfectly complement the seven Bergerac appellations.
