Location Situated in the village centre on Saint-Emilion’s main street, Chai Pascal is the ideal place to enjoy a glass of fine wine accompanied by a plate of cheeses, cooked meats or another lovingly prepared dish. In the summer, the terrace offers incredible views of the town. Atmosphere: From the Antre deux verres’ menu, choose from a selection of local and not so local red, white and rosé wines to accompany a range of salads, regional produce tartines, cheeses and terroir cured meats. A self proclaimed "wine maker-innkeeper" François des Ligneris, the proprietor, certainly knows his stuff. Atmosphere: Here you are in wine country and at one of its ambassadors. You can’t escape wine, the décor is a constant reminder, with embossed wooden wine crates on the tables and walls, advertisements... The chic bistrot atmosphere is even more romantic in the summer when you can enjoy the shaded terrace nestled next to the collegiate church. Dozens of different cru wines as well as from other French appellations accompany creative cuisine made from locally produced market products.
