The Fronsac and Canon-Fronsac châteaux and vineyards open their doors to you. This is the chance to discover or re-discover these vineyards and a wine region with a unique panoramic view of superb countryside, valleys and hills facing the town of Libourne (2km away) at the meeting place of the Isle and the Dordogne rivers. The free tasting sessions and many exhibitions and activities (rides in horse-drawn carts, exhibitions of local artists, Celtic music, regional produce tasting and displays of luxury cars) are open to the public on more than 34 estates. The Open days are traditionally organised on the fourth weekend of October.
