18th century charterhouse situated on a thirty-hectare estate overlooking the Dordogne. The vineyard is located on the sloping hillsides, while the meadows have been assigned as pastureland for the horses of the equestrian centre adjoining the winegrowing buildings, offering pleasant rides at the heart of the Castillon Côtes-de-Bordeaux wine region. A new sport known as Horse Ball was standardised here, which now has countless supporters and national, European and even world championships. Discover the winery and enjoy wine tasting session, available all year round. A children’s corner is set up and brought to life with activities during the summer season.

A retired captain of the Napoleon armies, Antoine Rabion, was knighted as a knight of the royal order of the Légion d’Honneur in 1798. He subsequently settled in Bonalgue and built the house which still stands today. Château de Bonalgue now belongs to the Bourotte family and stretches over 6.5 hectares of Graves-Sauternes at the far West side of Pomerol. The wines of this warm, precocious terroir are full-bodied and extremely elegant. Wine tasting tour.

Situated on a gravelly knoll in the South part of the commune of Lalande-de-Pomerol, Château Bourseau belongs to the Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation. The stony, argillaceous land has extremely low humus levels and the traditional varietals (Merlot and Cabernet Franc) grown here produce wine with an unmatchable bouquet and vigour. A large fermenting room enables temperature-controlled fermentation to take place during the winemaking process. The wine is then drawn off into oak barrels, to be aged for 18 months before they are bottled. Average production stands at approximately 40,000 bottles. Wine tasting tour.
