Location:
For more than a decade, farms and wine growing estates across France open their doors to the general public on the last weekend in April. The "From farm to farm" initiative is the chance to highlight those involved in supporting the sustainable development of agriculture and viticulture.
Atmosphere:
Several wine growing estates in the Lot-et-Garonne participate each year in the "From farm to farm" operation: take advantage of this to (re)discover the crafts and know-how of these vines and wine experts. This commented tours are free and are more often than not accompanied by the tasting of wines from the property.

In an atmosphere conducive to meeting others, the wine producers await you for a special tasting of their Duras wines... along with delicious locally-sourced terroir produce tartines. It all happens at the domaine Les Hauts de Riquets, at 9:30am, where there is a guided tour of the botanical trail, to discover the wild flora of the South West. Introduction to organic viticulture. At 11am, commented introduction to tasting along with delicious terroir produce tartines. |

Location How about learning the know-how of our winemakers... at their table ? That is what the Bertin-Manfe family generously offer you for free. The family own the Les Bertins vineyard in Saint-Astier, 20km north of Duras.
Atmosphere Every Monday and Thursday evening in Summer, from 6.00 to 8.30pm, come and taste the range of red, rose, white and sweet wines made here on the 16 hectares of Côtes-de-Duras vineyards. The wines will be accompanied by patés, potted meat and duck foie gras made by your hosts. Not to be missed!
