Description and visit Modernity and tradition combine harmoniously. Its unique blue winery stands beside the imposing historic building while contemporary sculptures are dotted around the property. You have a unique opportunity to see this outstanding place - Château d’Arsac is open for visits every day on appointment. On the schedule: guided tour of the winery, a stroll to admire the art collection, and a tasting of two wines.

Location Halfway between Bordeaux and the Pointe de Grave, Pauillac is the capital of winegrowing Médoc with 18 grand cru classé estates including Château Mouton-Rothschild, considered as one of the finest wines in the world. As well as its fabulous wines, this place is also home to a private museum of wine in art, an initiative of Baron Philippe de Rothschild and his wife Pauline.
Description and visit Designed by the owner of Château Mouton-Rothschild, the private museum of wine in art was inaugurated in 1962 by André Malraux. Paintings, porcelain, ceramics, glasswork, ivory, bronzes, sculptures, gold and tapestries from all civilisations retrace three millennia of the history of wine. Visits are on appointment and also include the vat house, the winery and the cellars.
