Just half an hour from Bordeaux, the town of Blaye is ideally located at the edge of the Gironde estuary. This lovely building that overlooks the ramparts that were constructed in 1698 using Vauban’s plans, the La Citadelle hotel opens the doors to the vineyards of the Côtes-de-Blaye.
