The numerous wine producing châteaux of the Pessac-Léognan appellation open their doors and propose a range of events: tasting, cellar visits, walks, sale of gastronomic products, exhibitions and musical events. More than forty châteaux open their doors to you. The winemakers await to present their properties and share their passion for wine and their love of the land. On the programme for this November week-end: discover renowned wines and meet the people who made them in a warm, friendly atmosphere. You can also walk around the vineyards and visit the wine storerooms. The different châteaux also offer different attractions during your visits: exhibitions and arts and crafts, a variety of tasting workshops and other activities to get to know this wonderful area.

Location On the third week-end in October, the winegrowers of the Graves region (stretching 50km from Bordeaux in the north to Langon in the south) open their doors to you. From Langon, the Tourist Office of the Sauternes, Graves and Langon Region offers the chance to travel around in chauffeur-driven vehicles. Atmosphere and tasting Do you want to explore the mysteries of wine in a friendly atmosphere ? The cellar masters of seventy châteaux will unveil the red fruit flavours of their Graves red wines, the citrus fruit of the dry whites of the appellation and the chance to taste the honey and dried fruits of Graves Supérieurs sweet white wines with their beautiful golden colour. Exhibitions, blind tastings with professional oenologists, treasure-hunts in the vineyards: come and have fun tracking down the aromas of these divine nectars !
