Situation:

Set aside your first week-end in October and come to Léognan, in the heart of the Graves wine growing region. This large and beautiful wine growing area begins in the north at the "Jalle de Blanquefort" river north of Bordeaux, and finishes just past Langon upstream of the Garonne in the East. 

Graves, which means gravelly terrain in English, is the only wine appellation which takes its name from the soil it is grown in!

Ambience and wine tastings:
At the beginning of autumn, the wine harvest is a good excuse for a three day festival in Léognan. With concerts and walks, demonstrations and tastings, music and paintings, bric a brac stalls on one hand and fashion parades and ancient motorbike exhibitions on the other,... A real vibrant celebration which has stood the test of time and gets better every year.

We would like to point out that this event is also eco-responsible (sorting of waste, recyclable cups...)!
