The Madiran wine region is situated North-East of Pau, and stretches over the départements of Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Hautes-Pyrénées and Gers. Close to the village of Madiran in the commune of Aydie, the Mouréou winegrowing estate is opening its doors for you to enjoy a wine tasting session in the company of the local winegrowers.
Atmosphere and tasting
Want to know how the pilgrims on the Road to Compostela were encouraged to spread the word about the famous wine of Madiran? Nothing more than a taste of this tannic, robust, ruby-coloured wine.
The Mouréou estate stretches over 15 hectares and will offer you a warm welcome and the opportunity for a free tasting of their premium Madiran wine. You are sure to be amazed by the famous Chapelle-Lenclos vintage wine!
