They (...) more Location  Passionate wine makers Marie and Michel Fonvielhe had the idea of setting up on their Durand estate in Saint-Jean-de-Duras the first living Conservatory of plants of the region. They look forward to welcoming you for a short guided tour throughout the summer from 15th June to 15th September.  Atmosphere:  Amongst the very first to begin using organic viticulture, the couple work their vines, soil and environment whilst fully respecting the natural balance and well-being of our planet. The role the plants play and their interaction to help grapes and wine will all be revealed! close

It also displays an exhibition of ancient engravings. The tour can be guided if necessary and ends up in the winegrower’s cellar. The Domaine du Chauffour presents more than 10 vintages including a sauvignon which is unique in the region: aged immersed in the Atlantic. close
