Situation
27 km to the north-west of Mont-de-Marsan, Le Pin campsite welcomes you to the village of Saint-Justin. Near Roquefort (8 km), it looks out onto the landscapes of Bas-Armagnac, its fortified towns such as Saint-Justin or Labastide d’Armagnac, Notre-Dame-des-Cyclistes Chapel with its small museum on the Tour de France, vineyards just waiting to be discovered and the experimental farm of Ognoas. The spa town of Barbotan-les-Thermes, and car racing circuit of Nogaro are just a short distance away. Festivities and gastronomic pleasures aplenty.

Atmosphere
On a typical Landes estate with 3 hectares of pine and oak trees, there are 55 spacious, shaded pitches for tents or caravans and chalet and mobile home rentals. A farmhouse restaurant is a delight for the taste-buds and there are plenty of sports facilities (pétanque, table tennis, trampolining, beach volleyball…). The exotic pool with its sky-blue water is surrounded by banana palms for that exotic feel and the entertainments staff are on hand to look after the kids and liven up your evenings. Situation
Twenty or so kilometres to the north-east of Mont-de-Marsan a short distance from Labastide d’Armagnac, you will find the Nauton municipal campsite at the entrance to the village of Roquefort. Enjoy the four seasons in the Landes d’Armagnac: savour the Landes springtime, enjoy all the excitement of local bull runs in summer, discover the distillation of Armagnac in autumn and watch the cranes wintering in Lencouacq.

Atmosphere
In a magnificent pine forest, set up your tent or install your caravan on one of the 36 pitches of Nauton Municipal Campsite. You can make your choice between the shade of the pines or out in the sun. A restful stay is guaranteed (no entertainments on site), with just picnic tables, barbecues and sanitary facilities provided. Right next to the campsite, tennis courts are easily accessible.

Location
Twenty minutes east of Mont-de-Marsan, between Bordeaux and Pau, L’Oasis Campsite is set amidst the vines of the celebrated Armagnac region, at the village of Villeneuve-de-Marsan. Just 3km away, visit the Domaine d’Ognoas to see how France’s oldest eau-de-vie is produced, and see the oldest surviving still in Gascony. 10km further is the town of Labastide d’Armagnac, with its magnificent 12th-century castle.

Atmosphere
L’Oasis has 8 simple pitches for tents and caravans and 5 chalets (of which 2 can sleep 8 people). Located on flat, shady ground, the site’s greatest asset is its traditional restaurant. The cuisine is superb local fare, with foie gras, dried duck, duck confit with home-made wild mushroom sauce, Landes desserts with seasonal fruits and Armagnac… Wash it down with a glass of the local Tursan red wine, and settle in for a nice afternoon nap outside your tent or caravan.

Location
45km east of Mont-de-Marsan, Gabarret is a small town in the Landes de Gascogne region, between Gers and Lot-et-Garonne. Just a few minutes from the centre of town, the municipal campsite La Chêneraie offers the chance to truly immerse yourself in the culture of the Landes: every summer in festival season the streets of the town resound with the sound of brass bands and the arenas are packed out for the traditional races.

Atmosphere
La Chêneraie is a family campsite with 36 pitches surrounded by trees; 14 are for mobile homes, with 10 taken up by chalets. Kids will love the special play area, while you can relax in the heated pool or cook up a storm in the barbecue area. In the vicinity, be sure to visit the Maison du Gabardan, a wonderful wooden-framed house which is now home to the town’s Tourist Information Centre.
