"Bordeaux Wine in the City" PackageTo be discovered: Uncover the charms of the capital of Aquitaine, a UNESCO world heritage site: from the allées de Tourny to the place Gambetta via the place de la Bourse, the Grosse Cloche and even the esplanade des Quinconces, the tour programme proposed by the tourist office will allow you to gain an excellent insight into Bordeaux life. The price includes a 2-hour guided tour of Bordeaux by foot (available at 10am every day all year round). Take photos of the main façades of the historic monuments and go into certain buildings, parts of which you can visit. And of course the compulsory wine tasting (one glass of Bordeaux red and one glass of Bordeaux white) at the Maison du Vin de Bordeaux’s wine bar to be drunk between 11am and 11pm on the day of your choice (except Sundays).

Moulis-en-Médoc footpathThe Moulis footpath is a 14 km signposted path running through part of the commune of Moulis-en-Médoc. Offering the ideal opportunity to stop off at the countless châteaux located along the footpath, why not sample one or more of the crus, visit the Museum of Winemaking Skills and Trades, discover the fountain of La Raze which supplied water to an ancient wash house, refresh yourself at the Moulin de Tiquetorte (a former 16th century water mill) and finally, finish your trip with a visit to the Saint Saturnin church, a true 12th century architectural gem, one of the most beautiful Romanesque churches in the region and a passing place for pilgrims on the Road to Compostela.

Go for a stroll at Château La Tour de ByLocation Château Tour de By, a 75 hectare estate, is situated in Bégadan, one of the eleven villages that make up the heart of Medoc to the north-west of Bordeaux, between the Atlantic Ocean and the Gironde Estuary. Each day, the estate opens its doors and offers the chance to visit the fermenting and store rooms. The visit consists of: a visit of the vineyard tasting of the Cru Bourgeois Supérieur wines from Château Tour de By. And also: a walk along the paths around the vineyard. From the top of the tower, discover the panoramic view of the Gironde Estuary.
