Join the party in the vineyards!

AOC celebrations mean...

... the Commanderie du Bontemps du Médoc et des Graves which initiates members of honour, the Jurade of Saint-Émilion which declares harvest-time officially open, the Armagnac pot-stills which start up once again, the winemakers of Jurançon who warm up winter, the villagers of Duras who have a sleepless night… There is something almost all year long.

Médoc

Margaux Saveurs

"Margaux Saveurs" is an event held in the illustrious town of Margaux and in the 4 neighbouring towns of the appellation (Arsac, Soussans, Labarde and Cantenac). Over a 3-day period the towns rival with each other in inventiveness and offer a wide range of discoveries and surprises for Margaux connoisseurs, wine lovers and for children.

For its second edition from 18 to 20 November, "Margaux Saveurs" is organising plenty of tasting sessions (in châteaux, restaurants and shops), cookery classes, offbeat sensory quizzes, interactive games, wine blending workshops and a local produce market.
Additionally, as part of the "Musiques au Coeur du Médoc" festival, a concert will be taking place at Cantenac Church.
And so that you can get to see the surrounding area, a mountain biking tour with gourmet stop-offs will also be organised along the paths of the appellation.

Saint-Emilion

Spring Festival of the Saint-Émilion Jurade

Once the flowers appear on the vines in June, the jurats dressed in their long purple robe with white capes, parade through the narrow streets of the town.
Heirs of an age old tradition where the knights, monks and soldiers themselves worked the vines and advised the wine making peasants, the new commanders in chief continue to celebrate all the great moments of the vines and wine.
The Spring Jurade festival begins with a festive highly colourful procession of several hundred peopl
Leaving from the Town Hall gardens, the procession crosses the medieval town to the collegiate church, After a solemn high mass with choir, the procession continues to the Monolithic church.
The Jurade de Saint-Emilion enthrones a range of French and foreign professionals and amateurs, as well as personalities who swear allegiance to Saint-Emilion wines.
