Les Gabarreys public campsite

Location
At the heart of the prestigious Médoc wine region and one hour from Bordeaux by road, Les Gabarreys campsite (Clef verte-classified) is set in a prime location in Pauillac, with a breathtaking view over the Gironde estuary.

Ambiance
In a peaceful, green setting, you can make the most of our large, private pitches (over 100 m2). Hard, flat land with electrical connections is reserved for caravans and camper vans, while grassy land is set aside for tents. The campsite also has six mobile homes and a petrol station for camper vans. Upon returning to Les Gabarreys campsite between visits to the Médoc châteaux and bathing in the Atlantic ocean (at Lacanau, Le Porge...), you can relax in the recreation room (television, library), or enjoy a game of pétanque, volleyball, table tennis or mini golf with the children. The campsite also offers fresh bread and pastries.

Le Maine Blanc campsite

Situation
40 km to the north of Bordeaux in Haute Gironde, Le Maine Blanc campsite is in Saint-Christoly-de-Blaye, a short distance from the Gironde Estuary. From the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Citadel of Blaye, enjoy the view over the islands of the Estuary. And if you enjoy bird-watching, stop off at “Terres d’Oiseaux”, an ornithology park on the banks of the Gironde, next to the harbour of Callonges.

Atmosphere
On a site of 3 hectares with swimming pool and games area, Le Maine Blanc lies between fields and the forests of Le Double, near a lake (swimming, pedalos, fishing, canoeing). With surface areas varying from 80 to 120 m2, the 94 pitches are enclosed, and either shaded or in the sun, as you prefer. You can set up your tent there, park your caravan or camping car or perhaps rent a bungalow or mobile home.
After a meal at the campsite snack bar, sign up for a winery visit in the Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux or Côtes de Bourg appellations, followed by a tasting session.
